Dry County

Liberty County — Dry County

Under Florida's local option law, each county's voters decide whether liquor may be sold. Liberty voters have not approved it, so the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco issues no liquor licenses here: no 4COP, no 3PS package store licenses and none of the special restaurant, hotel or club licenses. Instead it issues DRY versions of the beer and the beer-and-wine licenses, limited to beverages of no more than 6.243 percent alcohol by volume.
