As of October 1st, 2016, the cost to be issued a 4COP liquor license in Florida is $910.00 for a half-year, and $1,820.00 for a full-year.This cost is not affected by the classification (QUOTA, HBX, SPXE, etc.) designated by Florida’s Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, or rather, the location/property-type in which alcohol is being sold.

Historic Motel/Hotel

Historic hotel or motel must be licensed as a public lodging establishment and derive at least 51% of gross revenue from the rental of rooms. Sales authorized by the drink for consumption on premises and by package sales in sealed containers. License may not be moved to a new location.
Historic Motel/Hotel in Qualifying Municipalities
TYPE: 4COP
COST: $1,820
CLASS: SHQM
Beer, Wine, and Liquor. Sales by the drink for consumption on premises only. Package sales not permitted. Issued to a hotel or motel located in a historic structure of at least 10 and no more than 25 guest rooms in municipalities having a population between 25,000 and 35,000 residents according to the 1998 UF Bureau of Economic and Business Research Estimates of Population (see qualifying municipalities below). Hotel or motel must derive at least 60% of gross revenue from the rental of rooms and sales of food and non-alcoholic beverages. License may not be moved to a new location. Qualifying municipalities include: Cooper City; Hallandale; Homestead; Jupiter; Lake Worth; Lauderdale Lakes; North Lauderdale; Oakland Park; Ormond Beach; Palm Beach Gardens; Plant City; Riviera Beach; Wellington; Winter Haven; Winter Springs.
Special Hospital

May only sell and serve alcoholic beverages while the boat is on a scheduled or chartered cruise.

May sell and serve alcoholic beverages to passengers during a scheduled or chartered cruise and for a period of no longer than one hour prior to departure from the docking facility or marina.
