Citrus County licenses are obtained in accordance with the  HB 12-637 Special Act. This applies for restaurants between 2500 and 3999 square feet that gain 51% from selling non-alcoholic drinks and foods. In this case, you are permitted to have a bar on the premises. The bar should cover no more than 10% of the total restaurant space and does not impose limitations on consuming alcohol with meals.

 

Special Act HB 12-637 also regulates the license of restaurants that have 4000 square feet and gain 51% from selling non-alcoholic drinks and foods. A bar is permitted on the premises and does not impose limitations on consuming alcohol with meals.

 

Hotels:

Special Act 63-605 regulates the acquisition of licenses for hotels and motels with at least 50 rooms for guests. These hotels and motels should gain at least 51% from rentals.
